"He now can't stow away under the insusceptibility of his office. He will be sued at the best possible time in view of the confirmation and the report of the NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) as private subject Andy Bautista," Lorna Kapunan, legal counselor of Bautista's antagonized spouse Patricia, told legislators on Tuesday.
It's hard to believe, but it's true after the House Justice Committee ended prosecution procedures against Bautista subsequent to pronouncing the case "disputable and scholarly."
"It has finished well for the House of Representatives and furthermore for the Senate since this will truly diminish us of the numerous things we needed to do," House Justice Committee Chair Reynaldo Umali said.
He expressed gratitude toward President Rodrigo Duterte for tolerating on Monday Bautista's acquiescence "as of now." Bautista had presented an abdication letter viable before the current year's over.
"There was an offer, there was an acknowledgment taking effect right now. This meeting of the psyches rendered this issue completed," Umali said.
The Justice Committee should examine the articles of arraignment on Tuesday after the House indicted Bautista on Oct. 11. The case should go on trial in the Senate.
'Bautista could have been reprimanded'
Kapunan asked for the advisory group to acknowledge a "proffer of confirmation" or records to demonstrate allegations against Bautista. Board of trustees individuals denied this.
"Had the articles of prosecution continued and had this been given substance through an out and out arraignment procedures in the House, complainant Patricia Bautista would have possessed the capacity to demonstrate that all the ledgers expressed in that are not made," Kapunan said.
"There would be presumably that Mr. Andy Bautista would have been indicted as Comelec Chairman," she included.
Patricia is blaming her offended spouse for storing up sick gotten riches and having around P1 billion in his financial balances.
